Find Your Reason to Give. Find Your Y.

For 150 years, the YMCA of Greater Seattle has been a place where people come together to support one another.

When something essential is missing, whether that is access to healthy food, a safe place to belong, or guidance from a trusted adult, the Y steps in alongside the community.

Gifts to the Y help ensure youth, families, and neighbors across our region can access programs, services, and support that foster growth, connection, and well-being.

When you give, you become part of a community of people who believe everyone deserves opportunity, dignity, and belonging.

Many people support the Y because it has played a role in their life, or in the life of someone they care about.

Others give because they believe access to opportunity should not depend on income, zip code, or circumstance.

Starting a fundraiser is a simple way to act on that belief and invite others to do the same.

When you ask friends, family, or colleagues to give alongside you, your support goes further than a single gift. Together, you help ensure more neighbors can access the support, connection, and sense of belonging the Y works to make possible every day.

Where Community Comes Together

At local Y branches, neighbors come together to move, learn, and connect. From swim lessons and youth programs to wellness and family activities, branches are welcoming places where people of all ages find support, belonging, and opportunities to grow, right in their own communities.

Confidence Built Outdoors

Y camps and outdoor leadership programs give young people space to explore, grow, and lead. Through shared experiences in nature, youth build independence, resilience, and lasting relationships, while gaining access to outdoor opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
